An Uproar!

Ha!  I let loose today!  Dad threw a small stick and I ran and it landed on my head and as I ran it rolled forward and i turned my head and caught it before it fell off my head.  The others saw this and went crazy and chased me and as we roared across the yard full speed I stopped and they ran past me and I ran the other way and they chased me some more.  I jumped up on a small pile of pallets and then up on the high pile of pallets and the old guy freaked!  But, not me… muwahahahah I stood there and strutted and barked teasingly at the other collies below me who roared their disapproval with me addressing them as mu slaves.  They roared and I stood there like the Dictator of the world doing my best to imitate Mussolini.  I finally jumped down and led another chase of the roaring collies behind me and dad pulled down the pile of pallets wrecking all my future fun!  But, at that moment it didn;t matter for I was leading the chase and the noise was deafening….  yeah old guy, you will never stop me ……never!

Slingshot Time!

I couldn’t take it anymore… he looked so content and happy in that Hammock!  So, I Ginger, your future world dictator made my move.  Lets see how he likes fixing the fence after I slingshotted him out of his hammock into it… muwahahahahahahaha  That will teach him to be happy and content in MY world!

Wave your toys and bark as zee train goes by!!! (If you look you will see the side of the train!) This is usually followed by all the collies running towards each other in a big circle and colliding in a barking, howling swirling mass of collies who frolic across the yard for the next five minutes cheering that they chased the train away.  Unfortunately, as I was taking these pictures someone came out the back door and they ran to go in! LOL….  Timing is everything!

Mischief!

 -You know, the nice thing about being a collie at the Meadow is we don’t have to mow the grass, shovel the snow, rake the leaves or take care of the garden.  Thats what we have slaves.. er.. humans for… hehehehe What makes it even better is watching Ginger and Dad go at it…  He is filling the air on the plow tires and Ginger is letting the air out after he fills it…. HAHAHAHA

-Oh, now she is unplugging the air pump and just before he gets back to plug it in she plugs it in so it starts back up until he gets to the tire when she unplugs it again… gotta feel sorry for dad… his face is turning red… I hate to admit it but I have to laugh…

A GInger Memory

-This is a great memory…..

 

-Relax Dad…. I had it all the way!  -Ginger

 

Ginger led the chase around the yard …. She bounced and stole toys and bumped into other collies and  soon everyone was in a wild free for all chase trying to get to Ginger as she dodged, ducked and turned sharply trying to keep ahead of the barking, yelling, howling pack of collies that was determined to get her.  Around the shed they came dust flying, Ginger grinning evilly and the pack closing in.  As I stood there I saw they had her for there was the hammock in her way!

–

Well, what do I know?  Ginger did not miss a step as she kept running full steam towards the hammock and lept up into the air and landed on the hammock with all four legs stiff and stright down…..  However, she landed too close to the head end of the Hammock and when she came down the Hammock tipped up on the other end.  All I could envision was it flipping over on her.  But, it didnt, it flipped up quickly about half way and then slowed down and as the end she was on got close to the ground she lightly stepped off, looked at me and grinned and smacked her lips a couple of times and strutted off with the unmistakable body language that said, “I had it all the way!”

Of course when the hammock flipped up the other collies stopped and stared and watched Ginger pull her stunt.  As she strutted off they all looked at each other for a couple of seconds and then barked loudly as if they were cheering Ginger.

My reaction was to go lay down in the hammock and just shake my head….. crazy collies!!!!
