We collies learned some cool things in 2019 which was a very good year. We were healthy, happy and it was a great year. Through it we came to know about Emunah…. which is the Jewish concept of faith in G-d. All things comes from HaShem (jewish for The NAME) and some are more fun than others. But, the un-fun things are HIS way to turn us back to HIM. So, 2019 was a wonderful year without many trials or tribulations and dad watched in joy as Winchester brought us back to having near riots everyday with bark-fests.
2020 however, started off with a deer-car incident, ice storm with no power and then a lay-off. Looks like Dad is going back to work soon with a new job, the collie transport unit has been fixed and we have power. WE collies are glad for we didnt want to freeze, need rides and will not have to sell off Ellie to feed us (Dad did not know about this plot by you know who!).
Recent warm weather has meant walks, although slower ones for most of us are old now. But, we have fun anyways. The snow is almost gone and we love MUD!!! But, we have Emunah that that will soon be gone and warm weather will be here. All things are good in the end. At least that is what dad says……
Ginger on the other hand feels that if she was in charge there would be no tribulations for collies, just cats (especially cats) and humans, who would be our slaves……. We have Emunah that G-D will not let that happen, although Ginger is plotting up a storm for her coming to power.
Back to the mud, Ginger turned on the hose and filled up the backyard with water and created her Mud spring healing bath to fund her world revolution… that was until Dad walked out and saw it. Ginger of course had a muddy surprise for him which has put her in probation again. Of course the cat got wet too;

Ginger here, dad turned his back and all I can say is wait till he see the water in the basement. The furnace ought to be blowing water out the heat vents here soon.. Muwahahahahahahahah Let’s see how that Emunah works then old guy!!! Oh, here he comes, pushing the button to send.. now… muwahaha-
Such trials and tribulations… with Ginger always ready to assist! I hop the new job turns out well.
LOL! You kids are like a barrel of monkeys! I was in the mud over the weekend at the park. Mom said, “Stayonthegrass. StayOnTheGrass! STAYONTHEGRASS!! STAYONTHE….. UGH!” Yay! Mud is fun.
Love and licks,
Cupcake

Poor doggies. That mud is awful. Thank God for straw. Although, after spreading straw, it then finds itself inside the house. Best of lick with the job!,,
Sounds like you all are thriving and learning and having fun! Congratz to your Dad for the new job! Ginger is,as usual, being a perfect angel!! (LOL) Can’t wait to see what else the new year brings!

Sherman crossed the bridge 4 November. Spinal lymphoma. He front legs were paralyzed and the back weren’t working well either. No real chance of recovery.
Waiting for new pups to be born at Holmhaven, anticipate late spring.
Dog Speed,
Gemini
We are glad you were able to get a new job. We wish you the best and a very successful 2020.
Sherman crossed the Rainbow Bridge early November. Dad was sad but I watched over him. We are waiting for a brother to be born, which should happen in late spring, God willing.
You are in our prayers.
