My friend Kathleen sent me this picture yesterday and as I studied it it sure looked like Dixie! I sent it to my friends who once had had her and then found her a forever from which she disappeared from over a year ago. We never had a report of someone seeing a dead collie and no one could find her in the area. We began to wonder if someone had seen her along the road and picked her up and perhaps moved her to another area of the country. All speculation.
Then last night this picture appeared on SW COLLIE RESCUE! Kathleen thought it looked like Dixie and I looked long and hard at it and blew it up. Sure looks like her to me but I knew my friends at Glendale would know best. They looked at her picture and they believe it could very well be her. In fact they are pretty sure of it…..
So, if you are in the Santa Fe area and see this collie call her by Dixie… see if she comes and if she does contact us.. please… a little girl who loves this dog dearly has been heartbroken by the loss of her collie.. let us reunite them……
THANK YOU KATHLEEN!!!!!

Dixie has been missing since December 2, 2012 from Reidsville, Georgia. She went missing off of hwy 121 outside Tison, near Glennville GA. Dixie is a full blooded mahogany Sable Rough Coat Collie girl. She was last seen wearing a pink collar with a heart tag with her name, address and phone number. She is 4 years old and has been spayed. If you have seen her or know of someone with a new dog that looks like Dixie please call Dixie’s mommy at (912) 334-9735 or call Debbie at Glendale Farms (478) 454-5427.
Dixie’s 10 year old little girl misses her very much! There is a reward for her safe return. Please share these pictures with anyone you know and
please help bring Dixie home!
It DOES look like Dixie!! How fantastic that someone has seen her. She appears healthy (at least from what you can see.) Is this collie running free out there? Are there any more details?
Hi!
Yes she is running free….. it is scary and we hope she is okay!
Ah, just found the facebook page with the picture (was looking at the website…) She is runnning free and seemed scared. Hopefully it really is Dixie and hearing her own name will help bring her in to safety.
Hi Kay!
I truly hope so….. praying up a storm.
Dog oh Dog, we sure hope it is Dixie. That would be pawsome news.
Dog Speed,
Sherman
Praying that it is Dixie and that she gets united with her family again soon.

I’m keeping all fingers crossed that it’s her. Someone in Santa Fe must read this blog. Please do the right thing!
