Ok, the old guy is busy on his shed so I am taking control of the blog tonight. I am Ginger and I was born at Glendale Farm Collies in the state of Georgia. My mommy Trisha is the daughter of Hallie who lived here at the Meadow. So, moving here was a sort of coming home for me. My Daddy Brighton is also a distant relative to the collies here and his grandfather Ch. The Meadows Notorious was the father of a collie who lived here named Sadie. So, I am somehow related to all of the collies here. 🙂
It is so different here from Georgia. There it is always warm and sometimes so hot you cannot stand it. Here, it is hot, then so cold you cannot stand it.
The collies here love me and I love them, but I think I am much smarter than they are… but the old guy does not agree with me although he does say I am smart and a smart aleck whatever that means.
Here are some pictures of me which I want to share with you for I want to share with you how beautiful I am….
This is me when I arrived here. The old guy is holding me and I am thinking… where is lunch old man?

Here is a picture of me before I moved from Georgia.. I was waving hi to the old guy for Debbie asked me to do it.. you see I am very, very smart!
–
Here I am with my brother Austin! We were best friends till I moved. The old guy told me Austin missed me terribly but he eventually made a new friend there so it is all okay now!
–
Here I was with my mommy, Trisha! She looks exactly like her mommy Hallie who lived here at the Meadow. However, my mommy had a all white body while her mommy had a black body with very strong white markings! Like my mommy and grandmama I am very, very smart! I am also mischevious and naughty but the old guy loves it!

Here I am meeting all the collies here for the first time…. Mick is sniffing me and he became my instant friend here…. he showed me around and even slept with me for days protecting me and looking out for me. He is huge!!! HE was very nice to me!

Here I was taking my first nap ever……..
–
Here I am on my first walk! It was very easy to do and rather boring. I do not get what it is all about. We go nowhere in particular and just look at pretty things. We have pretty things at home.. so why walk to see them? The old guy is strange like that….
–
When I moved here I saw the food bag and thought I would save the old guy the effort of feeding me…. for some reason he did not approve…. we have to wait for dinner time here although he does give us doggie treats throughout the day….
Well, that is enough for today.. tomorrow I write more …… I will see you all then!

You can come live with me . I think you are really cute we could be therapy dogs together.
Ginger, I’ve done that food bag thing too. For some reason my person didn’t like it either. It doesn’t make sense. We try to save them some work and they get upset. Happy New Year to you and all the collies and Chuck too. (Notice I’m leaving Tigger out?)
You’re so beautiful, G., and yes – we get it – you’re smart! Mom sometimes tells me I’m so smart I’m dumb. I don’t know what she means…. I guess that’s because I’m so smart I’m dumb….. Wait. What?
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Ginger, I think you should tell your Dad that future world dictators need lots of food.. and who knows how much and when as well as The Schapp, herself!! Perhaps you could get Mick to stand guard and then the Old Guy would never know you were rustling up your own meals… and you’d still be eligible for snacks too! 😉
