COLLIES WIN THE VERY INSPIRING BLOGGER AWARD!!! GIVES SOME TOO!

Imagine our surprise today awe found that we had won another award!!!  YAY!!!  The collies jumped for joy and I cheered…. WOO HOO!  Then we read some of the most kind words we’ve ever had written about us and it was a humbling moment.  Wow, to have friends write something so nice moved us all.

Those wonderful words were written by Bassa and Tall Person over at BASSAS BLOG, the blog that we make our first stop to everyday.  We love the wonderful pictures, the great insights and unique thoughts Bassa has as she explores the world.  Learning about the country of Georgia is a lot of fun and seeing Bassa, Tall Person, De, Small Person and Barnaby is a delight.  We could go on forever about Bassas Blog for it is THE BEST OF THE BEST BLOGS on the Net!  If you havent experienced the witty, humorous, insightful, delightful and sometimes serious world of Bassa go please and visit them at;

Tell them we said hello!  We applaud all the blogs Bassa awarded with awards today for they are all worthy.  We also have a dilemna for when we receive a award we want to give it to all our friends… but the collies would go crazy waiting for such a long post to be put together! LOL…..  so please know if I dont award you it doesnt mean we think any less of you. 🙂  We also try not to give a award to someone if they already have it… usually. 🙂

Today we are going to do something we have never done before….. we are going to give out a new award for those we feel are not only the best of the best, but is someone who lives a life meaning what the best is.   By this we mean they truly give their best in their blog but also obviously live life loving others and giving all they have of themselves because they are Champions of the Heart.  They always are kind, giving, complimenting and supporting others and are there when someone needs words of comfort or help……  These are the characteristics of our Trevor who as many of you is now in his final trip to the sunset of life.  Trevor has been a Champion Of The Heart to me and I want to honor others whom we feel portray these things live Trevor does….

There is only one rule to this award…. give it to someone who has these qualities in their lives and on their blog.

7 things about ourselves-

1.  Trevor’s favorite food treat is Apple Crisp!

2.  Our first collie was MacKenzie and he came into our lives almost 20 years ago and died on this day in 1997.

3.  My favorite color is blue.

4.  I love rainy days.

5. Fall is my favorite time of year.

6. I love cooler weather and so do the collies.

7. My favorite actor is John Wayne….. favorite actress is Maureen O’ Hara.  Which of course means my favorite move is The Quiet Man. 🙂

We will try to give this award to those who are so very deserving and do not yet have this award to our knowledge… 🙂

http://bongodogblog.com/   Reading the adventures of Bongo is a load of fun everyday.  The pictures are great, the stories make you laugh but there is a very deep inspirational love of life in the posts by Bongo.  Words escape us right now on how to describe it, but you will know when you read it….. a love of life and living in the moment which we all need to do more often….. Every Sunday is a treat for Bongo learns a new story from the Bible and it is very inspirational and Bongo’s comments while very funny do have a deeper meaning if you think about them.  This is our second stop each day for we love Bongo and our Ginger and he are plotting world domination together… 🙂   Stop there and say hello! 🙂
