Dixie has been missing since December 2, 2012 from Reidsville, Georgia. She went missing off of hwy 121 outside Tison, near Glennville GA. Dixie is a full blooded mahogany Sable Rough Coat Collie girl. She was last seen wearing a pink collar with a heart tag with her name, address and phone number. She is 4 years old and has been spayed. If you have seen her or know of someone with a new dog that looks like Dixie please call Dixie’s mommy at (912) 334-9735 or call Debbie at Glendale Farms (478) 454-5427.
Dixie’s 10 year old little girl misses her very much! There is a reward for her safe return. Please share these pictures with anyone you know and
please help bring Dixie home!

Did Dixie come originally from Glendale Collies? (I got that impression when I spoke to Debbie.) If that’s the case, if it hasn’t been done already and Dixie were my lost collie.. I would put up flyers in all the towns between Glennville and Milledgeville… Lyons, Vidalia, Soperton. Dublin.. and ads in those town’s papers too (I saw the lost and found ad in the online Glennville Sentinel.) Just in case Dixie, being scared and confused, might try to return to her original home.
I believe Dixie was born elsewhere. She came there as a puppy and was dearly loved. The family that adopted her loved her dearly also, especially that little girl. We are turning over every rock and stone to find her but I get the feeling of growing despair and resignation about it all and its easy to understand…. but information has to be repeated many times to connect with the people who may have an answer… its all about timing that is why we are not giving up.
Praying that Dixie finds her way home soon.
What a shame that poor Dixie has gone wayward. Our pack wishes her a safe and speedy return.
Oh my word, my prayers go out for Dixie and may she find her way home soon. I so no the feeling.
My cousins and friends in Florida and Georgia are on the lookout, but so far nothing. One thought she had seen her but it turned out to be a male who was following the mailman when he inadvertanly left a custommer’s gate unlatched.
They’ll keep looking and promise to call me as soon as they know anything.
